The Tournament of Books Approaches
so you may want to start reading now! The Morning News just announced their fourth annual Tournament of Books. The event begins on March 7th, but judges and brackets will be posted a week or so before that. Powells Books has delightfully reduced the list by 30%, so you have nothing to lose and everything to gain in the gamble of great literature. And since this is a contest that proudly displays its bias - we'll predict a smashing victory by nominee Brock Clark's The Arsonist's Guide to Writers' Homes in New England, photo finish by a nose, slam dunk, hail mary pass in the last few seconds of the fourth quarter...and the crowd goes wild.
