Post AWP Round-Up

And we're back from AWP in Denver. Thanks to everyone who stopped by the Ninth Letter table and made the conference a great success for us. We are very grateful for your support. It was awesome to meet subscribers and contributors and catch up with friends. Be sure to check out the blog for updates on the forthcoming spring/summer 2010 issue.

Also a reminder that our current reading period ends on April 30, so be sure to get your work over to us as soon as you can.

In other news, Kathy Fagan will be reading on Thursday, April 15 at the Illini Union Bookstore as part of The Carr Reading Series. The event starts at 4:30. An interview with Kathy about the influence of the Midwest on her poetry is featured in the Where We're At section of our current issue.

Finally, head on over to The Millions to check out Philip Graham's wonderful and moving essay, "Everyday I Open a Book."
